This exquisite cello was built in Chicago in 2015 by Petio Kostov, a graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making and member of the prestigious American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers who is considered a master craftsman. This instrument harbors a wonderfully powerful upper register and a lower register which can be pushed to seemingly endless limits. The advanced cellist will find its response to be quick and effortless, allowing the sound to roll out of the instrument with ease. Its mature, chest-nut brown varnish exhibits gorgeous flaming on the ribs and back, perfectly matching the fine quality of its sound.
