Paul is Wisconsin native, having been born in the small town of Reedsburg. He developed an early passion for music and quickly became a multi-instrumentalist. Upon graduating from high school, he decided to continue his passion at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. While there, he played cello in the St. Olaf Orchestra, bass in the Jazz I band, and played jazz piano as his secondary instrument. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in cello performance and now plays with a band that performs across the mid-west, a private studio where he records local artists, and has also become an award winning film composer.
