This lovely violin, made in 2002,  is from the workshop of Yugoslavia maker Istvan Szabo and labeled “Maison Du Violon a Paris” This is the name he gave his workshop quality violins; this one having been made when he worked in Singapore.   Szabo was a serious violinist who became interested in making violins, studying for many years in Paris before working in Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia.  He has had a shop in Mirecourt, France since 2017.  If you are searching for a violin with a sweet, warm, and refined palette, you have arrived at your destination and reward.  This violin has a charming and natural character, sure to please an advancing violinist of any age.
