Our Mission

It is the mission of Givens Violins to acquire, sell, and restore fine violins, violas, cellos, and bows in service to the professional and discriminating string-playing community. We provide repair with an eye toward preserving and protecting instruments for succeeding generations as well as toward solving the immediate needs of their owners. We use our expertise to provide accurate advice and information for our customers in an atmosphere of mutual courtesy and respect. Givens Violins tries to consistently use the highest professional standards in our repair department, sales department, correspondence with customers, and inventory acquisition.
