This Maurizio Lippi Cello was made in a Beijing workshop to Givens Violins’ rigorous specifications. The wood is well-seasoned, and the craftsmanship is superb. This cello has quick response across all four strings and a beautiful depth to the lower register. The upper strings provide plenty of power and color for the player. The varnish is a dark red that beautifully complements the richness of the sound. This instrument would be ideal for the beginning player who wants more responsiveness and power.
