Perry Daniels is a very fine violin maker from Minnesota and is featured in the book Violin & Bow Makers of Minnesota. Perry worked in Winchester, England with the well known English maker Paul Bickle. On his return to Minnesota., Perry continued to hone his talents and has become one of the best makers in the state who was awarded  a gold medal at the Violin Society of America’s competition in 1996. He is known for the exacting precision of his work and the fine choice of materials. There is nothing lacking in the style or execution of his violins and they have a strong clean and clear sound. Perry is an expert in many things including native American birds and there is a natural and appealing quality to his instruments that comes, perhaps, from his love of nature.

Indeed, playing the Daniels violin is a natural delight.  The violin has a robust, pure, yet sweet tone with subtle, beautiful overtones easily made with the bow.  The Daniels violin will be very attractive to ardent and young professional violinists.
