Robin Aitchison is a leading name in the world of cello making. He works in Ely, Cambridgeshire UK.   Robin studied at the Newark School of Violin Making, having graduated with distinction in 1996. He then spent two years as Assistant Instrument Custodian at the Royal Academy of Music in London, getting to know and maintain world-class instruments. Robin deeply enjoys providing excellent service to cellists in the UK and Europe.

Aitchison’s cello is inspired by G.B. Guadagnini in that this is a small full-size cello with a string length of 660mm (26″) and a back length of 711 mm (28″).  This impressive cello dazzles its audience with its crisp and clean sound.
