A  deep love of music led the young Thomasz Kowalski to study violin-making with the master Jan Bobak, though his training and education prepared him for a career in cabinet-making. This violin is inspired by the work of Guarneri del Gesu, tastefully antiqued and varnished beautifully in a way that makes the violin seem to glow. The sound is brilliant and powerful. Each and every one of Kowalski’s instruments is profound in its craftsmanship and possesses what the maker himself calls “artistic and spiritual value.” This is an instrument that would assist any violinist through their studies and into their professional career.
