Tomasz Kowalski’s history as a renowned instrument maker began in furniture construction. A deep love of music led the young Thomasz Kowalski to study violin-making with the master Jan Bobak. This auspicious beginning led to a very successful 10-year service with the distinguished William Harris Lee Workshop in Chicago. Today he runs a workshop with his son in Nowy Targ, producing instruments inspired by artists such as Stradivari, Guadagnini, and Guarneri. This violin has a sophisticated looking gold-amber colored varnish. With a beautifully flamed 2 piece back. . This instrument would be perfect for the advanced student to continue an education on.
