This violin is made in the workshop of W.E. Hill & Sons, a London-based violin house  originally founded in 1880 by William Ebsworth Hill and his four sons. Robert Brewer Young and Stefan-Peter Greiner have re-established the workshops of the W.E. Hill & Sons overseeing the design and making of the Hill violins.  They have carried forward all the highest standards of  violinmaking technique that make their own work outstanding.  This beautiful violin shines a light on the detailed precision and tonal capability that historically came out of the workshop but also the exacting and very successful work of Young and Griner.
